Your Fall Events Guide: Delray Beach & Boca Raton 2026
One of the things I love most about being a real estate agent in South Florida is getting to tell people the truth about these communities. Not just the market stats and home values. The real stuff. The lifestyle that makes someone fall in love with a neighborhood and decide to stay.
If you have been following my blog, you know I believe the best way to get to know a place is to get out in it. Walk the streets. Grab dinner on the Ave. Stumble into live music you did not plan to hear. I just refreshed my insider's roundup again for October 7, and the big news this pass is a good one if you love a deal: 15 downtown restaurants extended their Downtown Delray Restaurant Month offers through October 31. That lands alongside the Delray GreenMarket's big season opener on October 24, the family Halloween celebrations on the Avenue the same day, the grown-up Halloween nightlife of October 31, Sounds of The Set's free live-music evening in the Set District on October 22, HER Health Summit at The Studio at Mizner Park on October 28, and the run into what looks like a spectacular holiday season. Whether you are a current resident, a new arrival, or someone exploring the area before making the move, this is your guide to where the community gathers. Many of these events take place along or near Atlantic Avenue and around Mizner Park, two areas I know well and recommend to buyers looking for attractive coastal living.
A quick note on housekeeping, so the list stays trustworthy: the early October dates that already wrapped, Passport to Pours, Psychic Standup with Karen Rontowski, and The Greatest Show Showcase at The Studio, have moved off the list along with September's Sunset Stroll at Morikami and Seventies by the Sea. The Downtown Delray Beach Craft Festival on 4th closed its 31st annual edition on September 27, and October 2's First Friday has come and gone with November 6 up next. Everything below is on the calendar as of today, October 7. The 2026 Boca Pumpkin Patch dates still have not been confirmed, so treat that one as a watch-and-see. Delray Beach's downtown pulses with energy year-round, and as the heat breaks, the GreenMarket's return fills Old School Square while every first Friday the arts district lights up. Here is what I have on my calendar for October and November.
Downtown Delray Restaurant Month: The October Encore
15 participating restaurants along Atlantic Avenue & throughout downtown Delray Beach, through October 31
Great news if you love a deal: 15 downtown restaurants extended their Restaurant Month offers through October 31, so the prix-fixe menus and happy-hour specials are still going strong after the official month wrapped. Participants include favorites like Dada, Double Knot, Campi Italian, and others, and October deals are redeemed directly at each restaurant, no pass needed. It is the perfect excuse to work the Ave one kitchen at a time this month.

Delray's signature holiday moment: the tallest Christmas tree in Florida, standing 100 feet tall at Old School Square since 1993, lights up the night as the Yuletide Street Festival fills Atlantic Avenue and Pineapple Grove with 60-plus vendors, live music on multiple stages, fake snow, kids' games, and Santa. The tree lighting itself is around 7 PM, so grab dinner on the Ave first and settle in. It is the night that officially turns downtown Delray into a winter village, and it is free to enjoy.
